In the entire video in the tweet, it says she requested anonymity under Marsy's Law and quoted the Chief in saying her actions were absolutely the correct thing. This is more anonymity from the public versus from the department since she is a victim here.

Was watching KU-Nova yesterday and got an ad calling Dr. Oz a RINO lol

For context, he is running for US Senate here in PA.

That's probably an apt description. He's just a pure grifter with no underlying political beliefs beyond money and self-aggrandizement. If he thought he'd have a better shot at winning as a Democrat he'd run under that ticket.

And before any points out "grifter with no underlying political beliefs beyond money and self-aggrandizement" describes a lot of Republican politicians, you are correct, but it also describes a lot of Democratic ones too.

Oz came out and stated he would recuse himself from any senate security/intelligence briefings involving turkey because he doesn't want to relinquish his turkish citizenship

mind you he didn't state that he would abstain from VOTING. Just that he wouldn't bother learning about what he was voting for due to security concerns

I don’t think a salary floor was ever even on the table; the only way they’re ever really going to revive the free agent market in any meaningful way is to drastically reduce service time requirements for fee agency.

They did really kneecap themselves by signing off on playoff expansion. When you’re up to a 12 or 14 team postseason, there’s really no reason for a team to assemble a roster that’s much better than 85-90 wins.

Well, the union brought up a salary floor. The immediate response by ownership was a hard salary cap.

But, yes, the union caved much too quickly.

Flour always the superior taco holder, they taste better and as mentioned are more structurally sound. The default option in Sonora (and southern Arizona), using the adapted local wheat first brought by the Jesuits.

Access to fresh tortillas everywhere is great.

Who even knows anymore. I don’t think I’ll support the franchise if they bail on Oakland, but god their ownership is soooooo lovely and has been since the mid90s.

I’d be more disgusted (and I’m plenty disgusted) but I also grew up a Washington R******s fan so they’ve got to get plenty worse to compete with Dan Snyder as a worse owner. He is bad enough to make me hate my team.

Wondered what it would be today and it's only a little over double 33 million with inflation. 68.8 million or so.

One could also look at why exactly 33 million would have been the top salary in 1991 and why no owner has ever gone broke while salaries exploded if they were inclined to I suppose.

Basically they've needed a new stadium for ages now. They've wanted to move to San Jose but the Giants are blocking that because it's their market.

There's a strong potential they could move to Vegas. Someone has a baseball stadium plan where The Flamingo is right now (and no one would particularly miss that casino since its not notable).

The most exciting part of the Tropicana is actually the freeway interchange near the In N Out where all the hookers hang out

Tropicana is across from Excalibur where I can go watch fake jousting and have a roast chicken dinner for $150. Also if you want to talk about places they need to be blown up the Rio is comically lovely but hey they have Penn and Teller so can’t be all bad right?
