Food derail prompt: if you have the financial wiggle room to drop $10-15 on a jar of anchovies, do it. That poo poo will change your life melting one down into your tomato sauces, cream sauces, etc. Anchovy is a strong contender with msg and fermented hot sauces for best overall condiment / ingredients.

Put some vinegar or a caesar dressing (more anchovies). Maybe a few croutons or some parmesan. Top notch salad right there.
