I feel like the art in the Mahabharata is me growing up with comics in the early 90's and the art in the Ramayana is me seeing comics as an adult in the late 2000's.

Also, the panel where the artist could have drawn Rama in his form of infinite universes in a Kirby-esque double spread and was like "gently caress it, I'm not getting paid enough and this needs to be done by Tuesday."

Haha, exactly--it's like, given that script, you choose to depict a little baby Rama? And not even show him in two places at once, let alone his infinite form!?
