The whole NFT thing for games is really dumb, because we already have the functionality they provide. Warhammer 2 recognizing your dlc for Warhammer 1 is an example of this. We can accomplish essentially all of the functionality with basic stuff like accounts. No need to get the blockchain involved. The only thing NFT's might theoretically permit is letting you transfer "ownership" of the dlc to someone else, but this would require that the corporations actually honor the transfer. There's nothing that requires them to do so. It would have to be voluntary, at which point why bother with NFTs because if the corporation is ok with you transferring ownership of your digital asset, they could just use existing technologies to do so, like when you transfer a steam trading card to someone. No need for the blockchain.

Can we maybe wait until there's any indication NFTs are coming to the game to turn the thread into an NFT thread? I get why people are concerned, but seeing the same standard 'NFT bad' takes (which I agree with) in threads for games that don't have NFTs gets old. If they announce anything, by all means crucify them then.

I know bitching about it doesn't actually do anything, but the problem with these things is that by the time they get implemented, it's usually too late and the ship is already sinking by that point. See Ubisoft & Ghost Recon.

Is it just me or does the game mess with the direction of the overworld camera way more often than WHII? Seems like every turn or two the camera is facing the wrong way and I get all confused until I turn it back north or hit the End key to reset it. I wish there was a mod that would make it automatically point north again after every turn or whatever.

Are you playing multiplayer? Whenever it zooms you to something another player is doing it likes to swivel your camera for no reason at all.

Oh that's still in, I just got the "win a battle outnumbered 10 to 1" cheevo, while only being outnumbered 2:1. I was fighting dorfs as Kugath, so it genuinely was a bit dicey, but I have no idea how the game misread that situation. It was a quest battle; maybe their reinforcements got counted more than once somehow.

I have 956 hours in TW2 and only 32% of the achievements unlocked and looking at them i know i've definitely done the ones that are locked. I don't have dawi dominance unlocked which is impossible i've completed at least 3 dawi campaigns.
