Looks like thick steel rope with eyelets on the ends.

I'm seeing stuff on Instagram that units in Mauripol have surrendered (not from russian leaning accounts). Hoping not, there is a brit in the marine unit there that won't have a great time if he's captured. Edit: goes without saying that I really loving hope it hasn't happened.

BTW I think I found where that convoy got roasted. FIRMS is used for tracking 'thermal anomolies' - usually forest fires - but it's also a really good tool for finding combat hot spots. It doesn't just notice fires but also high levels of smoke/particles in the air. According to the post from earlier the convoy got blowed up about 40km from Izyum. yo thanks for this, i appreciate the heads up, esp re: the influence grayzone has. i was under the impression that it and blumenthal had been kicked to the curb intellectually speaking after they got on the uyghur-genocide-denial train. i dont interact at all with youtube/streamers and that whole thing- the closest i get to that is being friends with activist zoomers/young-millenials. but, like, the people im friends with aren't idiots (i wouldnt be friends with them otherwise), so that whole _thing_ is pretty invisible to me eke out posted:it's amazing grayzone still has enough people reading it to be worth the money for Russia to fund yeah that's what i thought too!

If a russian oligarch tries bribing you and offers you 25 million dollars/rubles if you promise to turn a blind eye to imminent poll rigging or setting up a dozen extra SAMs near the border etc, and if you say no, can said oligarch do anything like trying to sick the mob to slip you poison underwear while you are near a window because you had the audacity to say no?

Everything you described just makes them sound like radical right wing. I don't see how you can be left leaning (in modern terms) and be in favor of fascism. That's a risk of categorising people like Bernie Sanders into this group who obviously is the opposite of fascist. I don't get why everyone tries to put a "left" tag on things. Russia are pumping their money into right wing pro-fascists, even if these people are "identifying" as left.
