I remembered Utena is on Crunchy and watched the first episode again-- 1st time hearing the JPN voices. This isn't the Blu Ray scan is it? Seems like it has a lot of film grain.

I can't believe that would be the best quality, given that the 25th anniversary box set came out a while back. But maybe they just shat everything out to a blu without doing a proper remaster

Just to be clear, I don't think anyone as a mod is hamstrung by an admin to ban someone. No one is protected as far as I know and certainly not by me. This forum is fairly easy to mod without the vtuber drama because you basically make sure no one is slapfighting about dumb poo poo or manga spoiling in anime threads. Just don't be a creep or have some pedo poo poo on your Twitter timeline and don't take yourself too seriously and don't feel like you need to involve yourself in forum drama outside of this forum.

Fundamentally if about 6 people have genuinely turned down being mod because they feel it’d paint a target on their backs, that does imply a perceived lack of support that needs addressing that may not have anything to do with the ability to put bans through.

I feel like it's more that there's the very real threat that psychos will comb through your entire post history in an attempt to doxx/harass you and even if you're good about not letting any of that information slip out it sure doesn't feel good to know that there are folks looking for it.
