DiHK posted:Can't you just buy followers, like it's not even all that expensive if you live in a "1st world" country? What do we even call the not developing nations anymore? I give up. The hot new phrase is "Global South". "3rd world" is a relic of the Cold War. "Developing nations" presupposes some kind of linear path of progress where, like, Paraguay will eventually turn into another United States or Belgium once it "develops" enough. Granted, "Global South" is actively stupid as well, particularly since there are cases like North Korea being considered part of it, while South Korea isn't. Or Indonesia being part of it, while Australia isn't.

Consistent pronoun game Phallus. Yeah I meant what do we call the nations formerly known as "first world". Aside from Empires, ofc. Gotta admit, "Emerging Markets" is pretty great for the poor countries.

I would think that, ideally, you'd want employees who aren't on social media at all minimize the risk of them becoming twitter's villain of the day because they compared tomato knives to rice cookers or something

lmao that one was easily one of the worst of the Tennant run aside from the Agatha Christie giant alien wasp ep. the casual nature in which the show also condems its characters to fates worse than death is astonishing.

Doctor Who since it came back in 2005 has largely been terrible, it doesn't even have the quirky "here's your £5 special effects budget for the month, don't spend it all at once" charm that the original series did, and the fact that they're bringing back the guy who originally got it brought back in 2005 (and who is highly rumored to be bringing Tennant back with him) just shows that the BBC is desperate for it to be the hip new thing again, even if it's completely creatively bankrupt Also the incoming returning showrunner wants to franchise the poo poo out of it, a la Disney and Marvel, so it's going to be even shittier his second time around

It starred the only good side character from the early reboot years and was about gay sluts killing monsters. And it was unwatchable.
