One thing I’ve always wondered, when it’s a building in a city does the demo company have to pay for the dust clean up too? Like, I don’t know, window washing in the surrounding area?

Different country but we got leaflets telling us to keep our doors and windows closed with a number to call if anything got blocked or broken. The local window cleaners had a good Christmas I would imagine. edit: the cheering was real, it was an absolute "burn motherfucker burn" moment for us. I'll bet that's going to go great for both of their pilots, mere days after that Youtube rear end in a top hat got his license yanked for his crash. Obviously this crash wasn't intentional but when it happened as a direct result of doing something they were specifically told not to do...

FAA gonna pull the license of everyone in the Flugtag this year EDIT, or for maximum trolling, call in a favor with the NTSB and have them force the organizers to put the competition on hold while they thoroughly investigate each crash and mishap.
