Well, I for one am sick of video games shipping with bugs, so if there's an economic disincentive to ship bugs, there won't be any. My libertarian understanding of economic forces tells me that's how it works.

Salt Fish posted:We attracted the worlds dumbest programmers with our platform that makes immutable code. Now it's time to revolutionize healthcare, housing, and governance. You could be a movie-style hacker/programmer who slaps the keyboard a few times and says, "I'm in," and this would still be a trainwreck. How do they test code under the same conditions that it will be running, for example? Or what do you do when there's a de facto ten million Monopoly dollar bounty on any slip up you make? And even if the code is perfect the first time, what about when the underpinning concept that you perfectly implemented is inherently flawed in a way to make the whole system exploitable? They're getting the best coders than the Dunning-Kruger Coding Bootcamp can provide since anyone with actual experience would run away screaming. I'm a lovely hack who bashes solutions together and even I know enough that coding in a blockchain type environment is monumentally stupid.

Hahah yessss What is the secondary market for these, are the “hackers” just banking on the morons ponying up ransom for their ugly apes? I can’t see a lot of collectors paying $$ for stolen apes as all the other weirdos would know it’s stolen so they can’t flex with it.

That loving rules. I wonder if they'll make the stolen jpgs unofficial or if they'll follow their own internal rules

This just keeps getting better tbh. Then there will be the awkwardness of does he sell them back to the original owner for cheap or give them, taking a loss.. lol
