Black Sabbath's Heaven and Hell was released 42 years ago today, holy poo poo. Dio-era Sabbath absolutely loving owns. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnWsRUKGDeo I read the Dio autobiography and it was pretty good, but only goes up to his first show at MSG I believe. Currently reading the Iommi Iron Man one and I kind of hate his writing style. It's 4000 chapters that are like 2-3 pages each.

Sure rules hard. Agreed Ozzy's book is great. Lemmy's White Line Fever and the book Lemmy by Mick Wall are great too. Halford's is cool too, did the audio version. Cool to hear the Dio book is good too. Speaking of Iommi, I love how he comes across as the coolest man who ever lived in Ozzy's book, compared to Ozzy's self deprecating appraisal. randomly found an old CD I had of Edenbridge because my kid was yelling "different CD" Despite it being pretty generic symphonic metal that I liked a lot more almost two decades ago, I still enjoyed listening. and then looked up the band and they're still making music! I'm genuinely surprised, does anyone itt listen to them?

There was a song on it that's a hilariously blatant ripoff of Queen's Show Must Go On. I actually went and registered on their official forum just to point it out like "what the hell guys". And I never visited their forums since, but to this day I still get Edenbridge Newsletters in my email once in a while, no matter how many times I've "unsubscribed" from them. This has been my Edenbridge story.

Yeah that's the one. "What You Leave Behind" is the song in question, in case you didn't check the link in my previous post. I think there were some scattered responses but it's been over 15 years so I can't really remember anymore. It wasn't a huge deal anway, the funny part to me is being stuck with receving a newsletter from a band I don't really care about, as punishment for my hubris.
