And yes, Devils Affricate, I know the English love buggery on the high seas so we Australian convict sons of poms are in no position to point the finger at bastards. Tried to order a gyro today and the guy behind the counter laughed at me. I thought of this thread and was hoping for the final word on how to say this. "Gyro" please.

"Gimme a 'gently caress you roll' then, and I'm watching you to make sure you don't spit on it, jerk." If he still serves you, then after you get the gyro, unwrap everything and throw it all n his fool face, "You ain't laughin' now, beatch!"

I never understood why statesians are so confounded by worcestershire sauce. A lot of the time when i say worcestershire sauce around company I'll get something like "what did you say? " or "why do you say it like that? " and i try to tell them that it's pronounced like Worcester, Massachusetts and they are always disbelieving those motherfuckers Also last time i got a gyro the guy pronounced it sort of like like yee row and i have no idea if that's right but that's how i say it

The pronunciation of those names makes more sense when you realize they're two-parters with silent 'e's in the first part. Worce-ster. Leice-ster.
