They used to do this deliberately with passenger cars, rather than stopping the train, you just went to the rear carriage and then they detached the carriage ahead of the station and a guy had to hit the brakes just right so you would stop at the platform. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slip_coach

Rexie had her two teefs pulled yesterday. She was flipping out in the carrier when I picked her up again so I let her out (last time I resisted and she hurt her little face on the mesh she pushed so hard  )She ran all over the car for a minute, then insisted on doing this for the rest of the ride home.  She was already high as balls, so why not add more drugs!  But wait...what's that in the background? Bishop then came charging in....
