The bolded part. Someone RETROACTIVELY pulled that last one out of nowhere just so that it explains one microsecond scene in Empire where Vader blocks Han's blaster shots with his hand. Something never needed an explanation other than: Darth Vader is a badass and gently caress you, that's how. But no, it HAS to be reverse engineered so hard that it's drained out of every drop of coolness your brain was left to imagine. Severance was fine. I didn’t think the show was perfect (too many scenes of people being confused or extremely passive, not moving a plot forward), but as it went it developed excellent cliffhangers that made it hard to stop watching. But, since it ends on a cliffhanger, wait for it to have a few good seasons, not just one. Watch The Leftovers if you haven’t. Poor Mike, talking about Picard killing Star Trek for him. I was getting a bit misty eyed watching him explain what Picard was doing to him.

Guess what, most people who bring a knife or a gun to a performance probably don't agree with you politically! Comedians you and I both think are funny say poo poo that will upset people, every day. This isn't just about 'free speech', this is about being able to be out in public without fear of getting killed for expressing yourself.
