In this glorious season where the Red Cars are demonstrably faster than anyone else, why is Carlos Sainz attempting to sabotage what could be a fantastic season for the Scuderia? To understand, we talked to a group of chavs in a pub in Sheffield. ----by Derek Daly

Man this track... looking forward to a bunch of folks binning it into the wall on race day. And the ensuing McLaren 1-2 podium.

I think the track layout is fine but the surface isnt quite right yet. seems like lots of drivers were losing the rear in turn 7 and 12. maybe the soft tires will take care of that.

Think I read something about how the slow section is partly because the on-ramp is too low and if the cars are going too fast it’s not safe. Like if someone got launched they could hit it which would be very bad.

if the NIMBYs let them have the race by the bay there wouldn't be an issue, but the track layout would probably be worse https://www.racefans.net/2022/05/03/the-evolution-of-miamis-f1-track-seven-layouts-which-led-to-its-final-design/ https://www.racefans.net/2018/05/16/proposed-miami-grand-prix-track-faces-changes-due-to-land-dispute/
