Happened to my brothers, they wanted to change the engine, we replaced the cooler, flushed out the engine, and its still running great. Terrible car stuff rant - I'm so sick of the loving craigslist car flippers Trying to replace my girlfriends Mazda 3 that got totaled out by an uninsured / unlicensed truck with an Agua Prieta, Mexico address (lol legit registered a few steps over the border) almost a month ago. Two times now we've been on our way to buy another Mazda 3 at a reasonable price and get a text from the seller saying it isn't available anymore. Within a few days the exact same car with better pictures is listed up on the local Craigslist marked up 30-40%. poo poo happened again today and the dude even has the balls to say it is single owner.

Here's some terrible car stuff: having to get your car towed   The cause? Seized AC compressor  It was already on my list of components to be replaced since this boomermobile never got converted from R-12 by the previous owner. Just another normal part of owning an old GM car I guess

I don't think I realized that those plastic wheel covers were held on via the lugnuts. Is that common? The wheel covers/hub caps on my first beater car used some kind of spring or clips.
