If I remember things correctly, the Russian invasion force got hosed badly in Åland during the Finnish war by the local militia reinforced by reinforcements from Sweden. Then half a century later when Åland was part Russian empire, it got hosed by the Brits. Russians and Åland do not seem to mix is what I'm saying.

Anna Kontula opposes for both good reasons and not so good reasons. Says that we will turn our back on some nations (true) and that is Russia such a threat really (yeah probably is, maybe not in the next few months but...). Much respect to Kontula but this time I gotta disagree with her.

Tiedättekö, ennen tätä viimeisintä kriisiä olin melko varma, että Sanna ja demarit ottaa turpaansa ensi kevään eduskuntavaaleissa Kokoomukselta ihan vaan sen takia, että SDP oli vastuussa koronakriisin aikana, mutta jos Marin saa Suomen Natoon, ja Ukrainassa on tilanne edes jollain tavalla päällä ensi vuoden puolella, niin se saattaa pelastaa.
