Lol they're going to cut all the departments that administer the stuff that we'd previously outsourced to the EU and create further chaos. Or probably just cut DWP / Jobcentre staff and make life at the sharp end shittier for those reliant on welfare.

They'll probably just out source the work so the overall jobs stay more or less the same. But some private company gets to add their 15% margin on top.

He'll do what Trump did while gutting the US govt, he will sack those that actually count the statistics so there are none to report how bad it is. Defra will be culled (pun intended) so cant report on how hosed farming or pollution is.

Mostly I'll be a hiring freeze and let nature take its course, as more and more people leave, more people will see thier workloads increase, and the rate of people jumping ship will increase. UKRI announced a hiring freeze last week, so I'm not surprised this is coming.
