I feel bad saying it, but I've never been more okay with the Penguins losing than I am today. I don't think I'll be able to really enjoy any more Penguins playoff games with constantly worrying about Crosby. One more hotbrain is one too many Sid.  Then again gently caress the Rangers with a rusty poleaxe for doing it to him in the first place, and also for being the Rangers. On the gripping hand the Hurricanes are probably going to crush whoever wins tonight anyway, I'll enjoy it more if it's the Rangers.

There are 1004 players listed in the NHL stats this year. 113 or 11.25% were born in the 2000s 771 or 76.79% were born in the 1990s 116 or 11.55% were born in the 1980s Chara and Thornton were born in the 1970s If Jumbo and Chara retire, that is the end of players born in the 70s. This is the last year players born in the 80s outnumber those born in the 00s

I just want the Rangers to play a good game of hockey even if they lose I'll still be mad if they lose but as long as it's not a loving gong show like their other losses then maybe it's not so bad. They gotta learn how to up their game and play "playoff hockey" If they win by playing like poo poo again then just makes me think they'll get murdered by Carolina anyways. If they can show they at least might be able to buckle down, get their defense sorted out and put the pressure on Pittsburgh more consistently, then I'd have some hope
