Crooked Dice used to be two people, who parted company sometime around the end of the 7TV 1st Edition product cycle. 7TV 1st Ed had a lot of 70s and 80s TV show references through it, from show parodies to actor likenesses to set and vehicle designs. It was great! Their sourcebooks were done in the style of old 70s show annuals, with cutaways and everything. But it was sailing very close to the wind. When they split, the guy who left took a lot of the harder-to-defend sculpts with him. 7TV 2nd Ed notably toned down the copyrighted stuff and shifted stances. Lately they've started to creep back to the original levels of filing off serial numbers from 70s and 80s TV settings. Sometimes they even DO get a licence, like their recent Ghostbusters and Scooby Doo lines!

Pretty sure that guy also used Infinity figures as the starting point too - I wish I could find that page again. Hasslefree also sells the Major and Batou in a couple of variants.
