This was kind of poorly worded. It is possible to consent to work, even in a capitalist system, because you have weighed the options and it is the best one you can find. Often though this is not the case and active consent has not been established.

no, just put a sock in it. it's all been said before, everyone already knows, and you're not saying anything new. if you think you have something new to say about it, go write a peer reviewed dissertation about it, but since most people who talk about it on this forum have model train sets for brains it's unlikely they have something new to say. at this point it's just another catchphrase like saying "sheeple" or "sever" used to be

sex work is work

sex workers deserve rights, including unionisation, legalisation, regulation, and healthcare

a fuckton of jobs under capitalism are very literally wage slavery, and most people are not able to choose their job because if they try to do that they will starve and die

companies cannot make money without paying people less than they are worth

-------

I don't think any of these things are in dispute because there's been about 100 years of proving the latter two things (Like, they are how a capitalist system is able to function), and the former two things tangibly create better outcomes for people doing sex work, rather than pretending that nobody does it and arresting them and fining them for doing that work, which puts them at risk for seeking help if they end up in danger or at risk of harm, and makes them unable to access legal retribution in the event that they are assaulted or abused

Like if you disagree, that's fair enough, but I do not particularly want to hear your half baked opinions and the feeble attempts to disprove these things, so just keep it to yourself

When you look at how the world works now, it seems like most people have to be forced to work, because most people, if given the choice, would not do their job. But most people want to feel useful and contribute to society. People like helping each other. The problem is alienation; for most of us, we don't do work that we believe is valuable or efficient and we don't see ourselves as helping or contributing through our work, because we're just doing dumb bullshit at the behest of fuckwits who tell us what to do because they don't know how to do it themselves, for the sake of rich dickheads who want to be richer. If people were allowed to actually do work that they believed was valuable, and saw the results of that work as helping their community or society, they would want to work. People who don't feel like they have a way to make themselves useful feel bored, restless and dissatisfied.

Maybe there'd be people who didn't want to work at all and who had no desire to be useful or productive. And they'd probably have no friends and be miserable, because no matter how you structure society you can't force people to like each other.

You should check out the Nisan Leaf or Ioniq 5 as they are hatchbacks. Kind of. The batteries are still big enough that it makes them look kind of weird to fit it.

The Leaf is probably the best car when you factor in price and I think the assist mode is probably what most people want as opposed to self-drive (which I think is cool but seems to turn a lot of people off).
