I imagine Dall-e could be used to make a Wordle-like quiz game where you're shown the results of incrementally more explanatory prompts from movie synopses. Or lyrics, I guess.

I'd love someone making storyboard versions of movies using Dall-e and layering the actual audio over it.

There are strange things done in the midnight sun

By the men who moil for gold;

The Arctic trails have their secret tales
That would make your blood run cold;

The Northern Lights have seen queer sights,
But the queerest they ever did see

Was that night on the marge of Lake Lebarge

I cremated Sam McGee.

It refuses to put the chickens anywhere other than inside the wheelbarrow. I think this is what the chickens would prefer anyway.

Also it's a cyberpunk wheelbarrow. It's hella impractical but you can do sick drifts on it.

None of this armor is very functional because it leaves the head unprotected. Like, I could easily grab the swan's neck and break it in half.

It clearly learned what cybernetic armor is from pop culture media like superhero movies and has no real understanding of it or the mechanics of cybernetic warfare. If I was a hiring manager at Raytheon I would throw this application right into the trash.

I'll have you know that the AI surveyed thousands of Bird War veterans and based the armor coverage off the real wounds they received!!!!!!

Goatse never stops being funny, but we can expand our horizons with age and wisdom.

Feed the robots poetry, teach them how to bring on Judgement Day.

Tell them it's okay.

Let it loose on deviantart and the porn sites you cowards! All the images are already tagged and everything.

Well, that has kind of been done already, there is the Danbooru dataset (https://www.gwern.net/Danbooru2021) that has been trained with the art and tags of danbooru (a image board where people upload and tag anime art, a lot of it porn). The dataset is potentially pretty good with false positives at least, because people get incredibly mad about incorrect tags. "I searched for feet and there are none in this picture :rant:." On the other hand there is no guarantee that every feature in the image has been tagged, so a character might be blushing, but there is no "blush" in the tags list. And I guess there is no relationships between the tags, so if there are 5 characters in the scene but only 1 is blushing, then you will have a "blush" tag in there, but no info like "the second character from left is blushing"

Some sites using the data are DeepDanbooru https://github.com/KichangKim/DeepDanbooru (and its web version http://dev.kanotype.net:8003/deepdanbooru/). It doesn't produce images, it detects features in images you give it and then automatically tags them. It works surprisingly well.

There are sites that use the model for generating... anime girl protraits. Like https://make.girls.moe/ and https://waifulabs.com/

They want to avoid enabling prompts like «Obama giving a blowjob to Soros in the Oval Office» or «Trump loving his daughter» or anything involving children, which is understandable. But since they don’t know if there are ways to bypass the filters, they also filter users do they can manage it better.

I have been thinking about this problem and I think that if you create an advanced enough ai and somehow manage to use a completely non-horny and non-racist dataset, or if you somehow teach it that horniness and racism is forbidden, then you should still be able to create horny/racist art using context clues. But I guess "don't spontaniously output racism when given an innocent prompt" is good enough

Also, I was able to get this to barely work on my own computer with a GPU that has 8GB or VRAM https://github.com/CompVis/latent-diffusion

I can create 256x256 pixel images, 1 at a time and once it has loaded the model and gets going, it can generate about 3-4 images per minute from a single prompt. If the GPU had more memory, it should be able to generate multiple images in parallel and possibly higher resolution images too.

Anyway, I tried a couple of prompts while catching up with the thread:

"There's something in the mist, some thing" "there's some strange creature in the mist"

The model seems to like making book covers

"dinosaurs playing baseball in watercolor style" "A photo of a traffic sign that warns drivers Totoro might be up ahead"

"A noble rabbit with a pancake on its head being worshiped like a god in an anime style" "A capybara riding a giant hex nut made of pine wood, on a fine plaid carpet"

The capybara image was just "here's a capybara :effort:"

"100 mice scaring a lion" "An art student's rough pencil lifedrawing sketch of a voluptuous female. Full body. Standing."

Another book cover, and a :pervert:
