Empyrean empties
It probably would've worked during the Attitude Era when the crowd went nuts for pretty much anything, especially if the Rock or Austin were involved.

yea, the problem with the spot they tried was that the Rock hadn't been really relevant to wrestling for over twelve years at that point. It may as well have been Bob Backlund coming back and telling people not to boo face Shawn Michaels in the new gen. Wasn't gonna matter.

Thinking about Takeshita on his American excursion, I was wondering who are some of the wrestlers most fluent in their non-native laguage? My first thought was Drew Parker in Big Japan, but then I remembered Cesaro doing English promos for nearly 20 years at this point

The longest I ever got into yoga was when I found an instructor who only talked about physiology and nothing about "energy" or "spirit", using words like "effort" or "focus" instead.

See, you are the person DDP Yoga is aimed at. He talks about isometric resistance and engaging muscles more than anything else.

Hell, the first version of DDP Yoga was called YRG (Yoga for Regular Guys)

Yeah, Cesaro is fluent in like 5 or 6 languages.

Jason Lee's native language is Cantonese, but he speaks both Japanese & English fluently and has done commentary in both languages multiple times.

I thought it was like a one-time thing the first triplemania I watched, but then it seems to keep popping up everytime I check out AAA

I'm not the best person to answer this question, but AFAIK, Marvel has licensed their characters in Mexico AS luchadores. All of the characters wrestling are advertised on tv and have action figures and stuff you can buy.

Basically this. Marvel and AAA made a deal to have Marvel Superhero-inspired gimmicks. They are treated as bottom of the card entertainment. The casting isn’t consistent from show to show and the wrestlers usually work a second match in their normal gimmick from what I remember. Remember the KFC commercial where he beats up The Miz? It’s basically a step above that.

I showed a clip of him speaking Mandarin to some Chinese friends, and they all agreed that, except for when he says English words, he can pass for being fluent.

Edit: Probably no-brainer but Kenny Omega’s very fluent in Japanese.
