The Director of Munchie, Jim Wynorski, also did Chopping Mall, Deathstalker II, and A LOT of porno.

So uh apparently the actress playing the slutty secretary also did a LOT of adult films as well :stare:

As if Munchie wasn't weird enough without the porno connections. Like I'm not even joking, Wynorski did so many themed pornos, his IMDb listing is great.

Seriously, the dude playing the Loni Anderson's boyfriend character is a Colombo villain if Colombo's job was as a HOA snitch trying to catch people who didn't sort their recycling correctly.

I'd call him a poor man's Robert Culp, but nobody is that poor.

That was a great episode. I think my favorite riff was 'a kidz bop version of eastern promises'.

It was really good, like when Trace (I think?) used to make squeaky squeaky noises when appropriate.

You should feel ashamed.
Since May was Pesky Critters month due to Munchie. The theme for June will probably be magic given the next episode is Doctor Mordrid. So Magic Sword, Sinbad, the Sword and the Dragon, Jack Frost, Delta Knight's, Merlin's Shop.

Fantasy is pretty underrepresented in classic MST3K.

I heard this too, but based on the long history of guessing Something Awful references in the media it seems unlikely. Jonah is pretty goony though.

I'm looking forward to seeing GPC in the shadowrama next episode!

Jack Frost is a slog, but the Baba Yaga house scene is one of my earliest memories of MST3k and it still cracks me up.
