Similar things can be done with cameras and infrared light.

Would a notch filter in software take care of it? Or is the hardware overwhelmed?

Good question.

It’s based off this paper

It would seem to require hardware changes to defeat.

Counter-attacks to our wearable jamming

It is possible that attackers might craft exploits to circumvent our wearable jammer. That being said, the most likely at- tack would be noise canceling techniques intended to cancel out the jamming signals. To provide some validation against this attack, we de-noised the microphone recordings of our jammed signal over our speech library (same as in our Ex- periment#2) using two methods: (1) the deep neural network (DNN) denoising method from Rethage et al. [45], and (2) the widely used Wiener filter [44]. We observed no improve- ment in the denoised speech (WER 99.64% for the DNN- based method, and 100% for the Wiener filter), when com- pared to the original jammed speech audio (WER 99.64%). We believe that these current de-noising techniques will be of limited effect because of two key factors of our design: (1)

there's an adversarial attack which is to listen to key presses on a keyboard and since the rhythm and somewhat unique click of each key is not random you can make good guesses as to what someone typed. I'm talking like the NSA or CIA obv not you or me, but with powerful AI trained on it.

My uncle worked in that kind of stuff (no not at nintendo) and said you need to have a way to generate random clicks and presses.

He also told me there's a way to (I don't understand computer hardware) read and write a bit somewhere on a drive so fast and for so long that it can reliably flip a bit in another part of the drive, and on a lot of computers you can use this to flip bits on the BIOS which is a hack that n oone is ready for

they don’t have everything and printing it would be expensive.

quote:

Print Wikipedia is an art project by Michael Mandiberg that included a printed edition of 106 volumes of the English Wikipedia as it existed on April 7, 2015. The bound paper volumes, each running 700 pages, represented a fraction of the 7,473 total volumes necessary to render the encyclopedia's extant text on that date. As first shown at the Denny Gallery in New York City during summer 2015,[2] the project included a display of the spines of the first 1,980 volumes in the set.[1][3] The 106 printed volumes included only text of the encyclopedia articles: images and references were omitted.[4] Supplementing the printed volumes of encyclopedia articles, additional print volumes included the appendix to all 7.5 million contributors to English Wikipedia (in 36 volumes) and a table of contents (in 91 volumes).[5]
