If they want to add "a Black 'All in the Family' analogue from their youthful days of the 90s and In Living Color" they should have included Roc. It was about as subversive as a live-action sitcom could get in the 1980s, which of course made it a huge success with people who were beyond bored with the standard sitcom formula previously described.
