I have one of the Gamestar HDD/Network adaptors and tried to use the SATA side to modify my official adaptor for PS2 and keep network functionality but that was a fruitless effort for some reason so ended up keeping the Gamestar one unmodded and have it in a test system. You can buy the SATA adaptor board separately from Bitfunx so thought I'd give it a try and yup, she works great with my official adaptor!  https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003444302209.html

I bought one of those a few months ago and it did work, but my FAT PS2 had some other issues that I couldn't resolve. I ended up getting a slim model and just loading my ISOs over a network SMB share which works about as well as it does off of harddisk and is still faster than the optical drive.

USPS finally got back to me from when I submitted a lost package claim over a week ago and they said the seller had been using duplicate tracking info so whoever said that was right on the money. I've opened another dispute now that I have this to submit as evidence. We'll see how it goes this time around.

Best I can tell they put my order on the slow boat to Malaysia, and then some distribution centre in Kuala Lumpur whacked them in a Fedex envelope and they were on my doorstep a few days later. They claim 6 hours battery life on a single charge but I don't think it could have been than 4.

I reinforced it with sugru and then covered my crime with AliExpress washi tape, but this means they can no longer fold up to fit in the travel case. They never leave my computer, so this is fine. However it's something to keep in mind if anyone else was thinking about spending too much on headphones (I think these are actually available on Amazon now).

My LOBKIN aliexpress headphones also cracked in the same place! I also held them together with tape! I just used packing tape though I'm not classy I still love them tho they sound fine and having fm and microsd playback built into the headphones is convenient as hell

But with tax those are $44 for me? My real AirPods were $99. Believe me I’ve bought 3-4 sets of 6-10 buck wireless bids for my kids and they are all fine but once you get to that price multiple sets of them don’t seem like a good value to me

Guys, Any recommendation on cool desktop gadget? I see some youtuber has a led display screen that can show subscriber number. Does ali has something like that, but just display the weather. Anything else cool? I can go for a slow moving sand panel but I haven't seen any version that can rotate itself. I want something cool. To make my post more productive, here are some desktop stuff I got recently  miniature wine bottles from ali: really cool stuff, but I haven't found a way to put them on the desk. I don't want to find a toy grade mini kitchen mini wood crate and plastic plants from Michaels/ikea/amazon, ok stuff aluminum phone holder, this is good, I recommend it LED screen speakers. They are cool but I don't think the display templates are good enough to run 24/7. They are good for a teens room I guess.
