yeah i wasn't even the most angry person at the time, there were at least 2 or 3 other miniluvvers that were super upset and z0nked him immediately

When I was with the Suddenly Ninjas we where always looking for new ways to play this terrible game.
All the old players have learned there lessons and just don't tell anyone what they do and how they do it I mean using broken game mechanics.

At the moment ''new ways to play the game'' are found and used and when it is out in the open you have several weeks to use it before ccp kicks in.

There are still ''new ways to play the game'' active I use them they still work and I won't tell anyone considering it will still be working for years I assume before anyone notice it.

there are a couple 'things' out there that only 2-3 people that i know know, and they're really good at keeping it quiet

there are ways to do completely afk and safe activities that generate pretty good isk/hr and i know one guy with 30 accounts that runs it DT to DT

e: really though, one price bump in nearly 20 years shouldn�t be a big deal, especially with the news that alt accounts will be discounted to more or less the old price. not great for psychopaths that multibox 20 accounts but eh.

So Eve-Online now costs $20 a month, making it the most expensive MMORPG subscription, for an MMO that CCP is no longer developing new content for. I guess if you go for the 6 month subscription then you save enough to be back at the old plan, but the monthly plan is a terrible deal.

yes, but what would you do to try to increase revenue if you had no competent programmers left, had no money to hire any, had driven away anyone who knew anything about your game, and also you were a complete moron who had spent 20 years draining all the money out of eve to try and make something that you could legitimately take credit for

Eve-Online is done for if this is their solution. Sucks cause there is not going to be another MMORPG that fills the gap that is about to be created.

I liked dust too, but having to unhook my PC setup to my PS3 was dumb and tedious and the reason I stopped playing, not any fault with the game itself. One can only imagine what would have become of the game if it weren't shackled to a console... though the money Sony was paying for exclusivity probably helped development.

Hire people from the community who knew what they were doing, and hire a second software shop based in somewhere not-Iceland.

I didn't realize they lost $8M last year. I thought they were still mildly profitable.

Isn�t that sort of what they�re doing? I know they hired Elise, and are investing in their London office.

In terms of 'fully pimped/maxed ships' we have restrictions on the meta level of items players can bring into the proving grounds, typically this will be a max of meta 5 (Up to T2 mods, no implants in slots 1-5 i.e. no snakes, no strong/event 4 boosters, no faction mods etc). But there are also more affordable and accessible proving grounds too, such as the meta 4 cruiser 1v1 we had yesterday, there is a 2v2 corvette proving ground on Saturday that is tech 1 only if you want some cheap action that doesn't require much SP.
