I mean technically you can just walk ~~ankles~~ ~~calves~~ knee deep into your nearest pond and realize that short of the aesthetic difference of what's sticking up out of it that's the experience. with that level of inundation nothing works or can be fixed / maintained / or preserved, it's back to nature
