Tarantino seems to have had the same problem as a few other people, such as Kevin Smith: he was so grateful to Weinstein for basically starting his career that it partially blinded him to Weinstein's depredations. It's another element of why Weinstein went unpunished for as long as he did.

Even as someone who likes a crime podcast (ok it’s just Criminal and Casefile), good lord There is…worms, worms on worms on worms of brainworms there. gently caress how do you listen to true crime podcasts and not have a bitter taste for the cops?

After The War posted:Please tell me that was from a review for "Behind the Police." If I'm remembering correctly, it was actually in reference to some completely random episode that had nothing to do with cops, but they came back from the break and started making fun of how the WA police had bought ad time on a previous episode — about on par with that one time where Bloomberg tried to advertise on Worst Year Ever and they just spent the entire time roasting the gently caress out of him as a candidate.

I've been making my way through the archives and the episode I just started makes fun about the Washington state Police buying ad time. It's the first Cash for Kids episode with Prop.

Oh, I know it's been a running joke for a bit now. Garrison's been doing it on their own with Robert only occasionally joining in on ICHH Daily.

teen witch posted:Even as someone who likes a crime podcast (ok it’s just Criminal and Casefile), good lord Unfortunately 'true crime' can refer to a lot of things, and the majority of the most popular stuff (especially when it comes to podcasts) is of the, "trust no one, buy a security system, never help a stranger, put your DNA in a database, always cooperate with cops, it's wine o'clock somewhere!" variety. It sucks because everyone knows the best episodes of Forensic Files are the ones where it turns out the cops lacked basic competence and couldn't stop accusing the same guy for no reason even as an absurd amount of evidence piled up to the contrary. Loved this one btw Robert mentioning Ben Garrison today made me think he could make for a good episode. Although I'm sure he's not terribly impressive or interesting, his comics are rife for ridicule (also of course you'll want to be sure to mention the cum edits) And then thinking about that rear end in a top hat made me realize there's a much better cartoonist target: Scott Adams. Now that would make for a good episode. What the gently caress happened to Dilbert's Dad to make him such a fuckwit?? I'd love to hear that story covered by Robert

I don't think Garrison or Adams could fill an episode, but throw in someone like Lester and maybe you have one! The problem with doing an episode on cartoonists is how much time you could end up spending on describing a cartoon that the audience can't see. How lame is it when Alex Jones spends a bunch of time talking about a meme he printed out and framed but you can't see so he just crappily describes it? The difference could be if there are enough cartoonists with real world lovely elements to their lives like Bruce Tinsley's drunk driving.

After the December incident, he attacked the sentencing judge, Roderick McGillivray, in several of his comics.
