So I don't know how definitively this affects any future albums or concerts, if they were planning any. I was actually just making a DM mix for my wife a few weeks ago and I was idly wondering how much time they had left. If this is the end, they definitely had a run they can be proud of. You have to get like 50 songs deep before you can start cutting stuff out of a best-of playlist.

Rolling Stone has a pretty good writeup: https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/andy-fletcher-depeche-mode-tribute-1359330/ It sounds like Gore writes the lyrics, Gahan sings and brings the stage presence, and Fletcher just kind of contributed whatever. I've always suspected that the band outsources a lot of its musical orchestration since Alan Wilder left in the mid-90's.
