I will disagree with Matt only on his point that wrestling is not theatre, because professional wrestling is one of the most taxing and demanding forms of physical theatre in the world, and it frankly deserves to be treated with the same respect as any other kind of theatre the rest of his tweet is completely correct

I don't see what's so bad about that opinion. The amount of wrestlers who can cut write and cut a good promo on their own is probably not very large. It's all well and good to point to someone like Mox or Eddie or Jericho as an example of people thriving without any guidance but you also get poo poo like Dante telling Scorpio Sky that "Just because Sammy can't challenge you, doesn't mean I can't" or whatever it was. Having someone around to help people who aren't good at that side of pro wrestling makes sense to me.
