They've been mixing and matching colours a lot. Apparently Richardson was a huge dick about it and tepper is a bit more modern.

If they were going to put mini logos like that, I would have preferred the LA state logo they used back in the day. Personally if you described it to me I would say the mini logo sounds cool but in execution I hate it
