They want to sell you the thing, it's gunna be fine

Posted this on r/medicalcannabisaus but it's reddit and the responses are likely to be garbage, so I'll ask here too. If a sniffer dog indicates the presence of a drug, after providing proof of a valid medicinal cannabis prescription is one still legally obligated to allow for a body search? Seems the answer would be no as I presume searches can only be done with suspicion of holding an illicit drug and medicinal cannabis is, by law, not that. Would a body search therefore be illegal for the police officer to perform in such a scenario? Unpacking this further, wouldn't that make drug sniffer dogs, or at least the ones trained to detect cannabis, far less useful? Street dealers/carriers would only have to get a medicinal cannabis prescription and they could carry just about anything, as it's not like the dog can communicate which drug they're detecting (though I understand there are more specialized sniffer dogs). Has any of this even been tested in court?

is it effective for the ticcing? I was a little concerned with the olanzapine because it's often a last resort hail mary type of drug, as well as being horrid.

Memory was it being very effective for my tics I remember thinking I had basically out grown out of my tics Then I stopped smoking and they came back and sometimes with an utter vengeance. Just feels frustratingly undignified that I can't sit down and watch a movie without loudly proclaiming "muh! Muh! Muh!" and hitting myself. I'm happy to have access to the weed in a controlled fashion so I can say with more certainty if it is effective or not If it works then I can start looking at dosages and figuring that poo poo out, like I'm fully open to the idea that it might work but I basically need to be stoned out of my gourd and that just isn't viable for a long term solution. But having anything that works somewhat reliably would really be a breakthrough

I was originally prescribed IndiMed Tempo which my private health (HCF) covers and costs ~$90, but the supplier out of stock. Got another prescription for Purple Kush, which isn't covered but is available, for $150.

I feel like they're gonna have to change some of these names if its gonna be prescribed medicine. Like having doctors out there prescribing like Purple Mango Kush-Haze feels like a bit of a clash of cultures.

I wish I could like weed but the taste/smell makes me gag and while I've enjoyed being stoned over the years it never really tickled my brain in a way that made me want to do it regularly. Hash was always a lot easier for me to deal with vs bud. Anyway glad to see this opening up finally!
