Still buzzing from a Nation Extreme Wrestling show I just got home from. I got to meet Josh Alexander (who showed up unannounced for an Impact title defense), talked to El Phantasmo for a bit about Forbidden Door on Sunday (and he 2 Sweeted me), and Chelsea Green grabbed me and shoved me out of her way during a TLC match as she walked through the crowd, which I'm pretty sure is going to show up on camera once they post the show. Kidd Bandit and Dark Sheik at next month's show. NEW is probably the best promotion in Canada right now. Whatcha got, WINNIPEG!?

Mance Warner seems like a cool guy and I liked the time he called out that fan from the ring for making a rape joke but I never really got the point of his gimmick and his work is pretty ok. MLW seems like a fair place to put him.

He's a fun character, has lots of charisma, can do fun promos, and can have decent wrestling matches or wild brawls. He's like all of the mystique of Nick Gage but in a wrestler who can move without it looking like his body is going to fall apart at any given moment. He's probably better as a big fish in MLW than in AEW.

I saw the clip and yeah, they were just going for each other's arms like a swordfight-stab duel spot, and the guy keeps interrupting the ref legit checking up on the one who's clearly hurt/bleeding out to try continuing the match If GCW was hoping to cool down a bit/catch less poo poo after everything else this year, that's out of the question now. Reckless poo poo they deserve called out for

Any CZW/GCW aficianados know when this photo was taken? I had a doubletake after seeing it since I thought Wifebeater had been dead for over a decade, but Nick Gage looks pretty similar to now. Although my perception of time is all screwed up, I thought Justice Pain died around the same time as Trent Acid but it was only in 2020

ICW: No Holds Barred got canceled because someone was stabbed in the parking lot before the show. The victim is ok because, as a deathmatch thing, there were extra paramedics on site.
