Also, I don't think the US has any untapped reserve of leftists, there is not some undercurrent of progressivism in West Virginia or any other state for that matter just waiting for the right socialist to appear on the scene before coming out to vote. Some polling will show a majority of people favoring a theoretical benefits program, but it is kind of like how a generic unnamed Democratic or Republican politician always polls higher than a real person who has actual flaws and stuff for opposition to dig into. It does not matter if 70% (making up this number) of people favor medicare for all or any other similar program when it is a theoretical thought exercise, by the time a real bill it put together half the people would have been poisoned against it by the right wing ecosystem. The only way to get any GOP voter buy-in for any sort of socialist program would be to add "For White People" at the end of everything. My fluffy boy has managed to get out of his collar and I can't find it at all, which makes me wonder where exactly he got it stuck and broken off. He's been wearing a bell collar for last 8 months or so and it's really weird not to hear the jangle of it and now I can't tell him apart from his sister when he's jumping up or approaching me otherwise. Right now both of them are very upset that I'm home late since the concept of protesting isn't part of their particular cat vocabulary but it seems like they're more interested in the mouse family that has taken up residence under the riding mower the landloard/upstairs roommate bought for our yard.

I’m thinking about getting my 80lb grayador a big gently caress all spiked collar cause the coyotes up here in the mountains are common enough where they walk around the middle of the streets all day undisturbed.
