Its impossible to know whether its half-assed false flag or just half-assed direct action without the perpetrators getting caught. The last major left wing terrorist organization in the united states started with streaking naked through high schools in an attempt to convince the students to adopt socialist revolution. They eventually worked their way up to more significant actions. But it took a year. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Weatherman_actions

The bomb was intended to be planted at a non-commissioned officer's dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey That is quite the self own. Also reading about them going to harvest sugar in Cuba is pretty Interesting that they never were able to or choose not to kill people. Granted sticking a nail bomb in the middle of a dance probably is gonna kill people. I can’t tell if they’re somewhat principled in only attacking buildings or just incompetent or both. Holy poo poo, my wife sent me that, and I couldn’t tell if this was just a joke of what you’d expect him to say, as opposed to he actually said that. Kapo Miller is certainly something. So I was wondering, in states with SYG laws and legal abortion (say PA) if some dipshit from Texas comes trying to spy on people or worse “arrest” them, could a bystander or the person themselves use lethal force (more from the latter then the former)? For the former I suspect (not too overtly) kicking their rear end and detaining them is a proper response. I’m just wondering if Texas or some other rotting poo poo hole claims they’re deputized LEO or poo poo to muddy the waters. Last thought, if you read about those women having their abortions canceled, and view that with glee or happiness, you loving are human trash and less of a human then a servitor. How long has the fully weaponized scotus project been a thing they've tried to realize? 50 years, 60? Nearly 70 if it started with Brown? Just under 40 if BJU vs United states. Funnily enough it seemed to really kick into high gear after a black guy got elected president and told some clearly racist and definitely fashy Republicans what he wanted to do and passed the shittiest possible alternative to a public option for healthcare. Then some old woman *almost* won and would've just hosed *everything* up for them for decades. Hey, for want of a state visit or two, huh? Oh yeah, we forgot about the ACA - they're gonna go after that, too. The right-wing media will use the Obama-Bidencare moniker because the GOP base actually think that ACA and O'Bidencare are two separate things and they can pull off a Brexit-level snowjob. The right finally realized around 2007-8 that they were dying off as a political entity that could dominate without making major changes that alienate donors. They understood it was either cement m minority rule soon or get wiped out. That’s when they, McConnell specifically really committed them hard to playing power politics at any cost, though Gingrich had already laid a lot of groundwork.

Despite Biden's lobbying of other senators and getting the support of Judiciary Committee Chairman James Eastland, "Biden-Roth" narrowly lost.

I'm just trying to ballpark it, figure out how long they've been cooking this thing up. I think you're dead on with BJU, but they also began 'weaponizing' political engagement then, too. Religious conservatives moved to interact with, which led to their dominating, the formerly secular world of politics, which they had mostly left alone the previous 150 years. The religious conservatives also switched from demanding religious orthodoxy which kept them fighting amongst themselves, to demanding political orthodoxy which turned their old enemies into allies. Religious conservatives were in the same "boo fuckity hoo, everything sucks, it's only getting worse, the powers that be hate us, we're all be extincted" spot that a lot of the rest of us are in now. The two biggest things they did to fix that were to 1)stop circular firing squad themselves on religious orthodoxy, and to 2) engage wholeheartedly, from city dogcatcher to the Presidency, with the icky, messy, foreign political process and capture it. e: BJU is Bob Jones University v. US, a 1983 Supreme Court case (8-1, Rehnquist dissenting) that said private (including religious) schools that discriminate on the basis of race lose their tax exempt status. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Jones_University_v._United_States joat mon fucked around with this message at 13:40 on Jun 26, 2022 |

Eh, there's a lot to be said for sugar daddy billionaires building endless infrastructure for a political take over like the federalist society, the tea party, Koch brothers and so on. Also having a globe spanning propaganda machine that can put every last person in the tent on one manufactured outrage message at the same time. Those are really important to the current successes and with class warfare being what it is will never really exist to fight against the interests of the 1%.

Milo and POTUS posted:Is this the worst you think it's ever been or was taney court worse since it preceded the you know what The Taney court was worse.. so far, and it wasn't just because it led to the Civil War. Taney took the opportunity to make proclamations from the bench on issues that weren't a part of the cases being heard. In Dredd Scott, which was about whether or not Scott was free because he had been brought into a territory where slavery was illegal, the Taney court decided that yes, Scott was still property because of an (unfortunately) correct and especially ghoulish reading of Article IV. He then went on to declare that no black person was a citizen of any State or the United States, and as such could not petition the courts for anything. Basically, that they had absolutely no rights or protections, regardless of their status as Free or Slave. He went on in the same ruling to declare that all states were Slave states, and no state could limit the institution of slavery within its borders, specifically calling out the Missouri compromise (at that point over 30 years old) as Unconstitutional. The end goal was to answer the Slave question once and for all by giving the slave states more or less everything they demanded. And they still threw a 4 year long temper tantrum when they didn't get the result they wanted in the 1860 presidential election. with all of that said, there's time and room for this court to do more damage and take the crown of worst ever.
