Usually weight considerations. If you're taking it into the woods you usually plop it on a fireproof pad + maybe dig in the legs. My titanium one doesn't even really have legs, just little sharpened poles you poke into the ground (or snow, depending on how far up in the mountains you happen to be)

Does your yurt have vent for ye olde smokestack? Not hard to put one in yourself. Just measure out the smokestack and find a patch with the fireproof material somewhere. Can easily cut a square and replace.

Main thing is if you're running high oxygen your smoke stack will sometimes be glowing hot. Can't put it directly against a non-fireproof material and you'll want a spot to vent into the exterior
