i listen to Qanon Anonymous and by chance I came across host Julian Feeld's website and facebook, and it turns out he's a talented photographer, filmmaker, and writer https://www.julianfeeld.com/ https://www.facebook.com/julianfeeld its been dormant since 2018, right when the podcast started, and seems completely separated from his new career. even his imdb just mentions his appearance in the HBO Qanon doc, and no past work as someone with silly aspirations in art it gives me a weird feeling seeing him go from 250 followers doing that, to 32K on twitter and a $100K/month patreon documenting conspiracy psychos

One funny thing about modern religion is that, hundreds of years ago, people would murder one another over their position on the council of trent or whether the communion wafer was consubstantiated or transubstantiated or whether God says you can go to a birthday party, but today Americans will be like "Yeah, I used to go to First Methodist, but then they got a new organist, so now I go to the First Presbyterian because their choir is better, except during Easter when St. Matthew's does their pageant which is just fantastic, and on Christmas when you've just got to go to First Baptist..."
