I was legitimately surprised how many Godzilla movies HBO Max had. Those were a staple of many childhood sleepovers. Those were great to watch and then play with your godzilla toys and Transformers and GI Joes. I miss the simpleness, naivete, and innocence I had that time.

It's due to some existing distribution deal with Criterion (it's also on there), and Criterion licensed the entire Showa series (1954-1975) and put it out on BR, but they also had TV/Streaming rights. Super charming miniatures and special effects. The blu rays are gorgeous.
