How many people in this thread actually listen to this stuff? I drive a really old beat up car and don't like wearing headphones when i drive so I scan the radio a lot and subject myself to this horseshit probably more than I should but where I live it seems like it's ever other station, every one is a blowtorch and the music channels are predictably lame most of the time unless I get lucky and hit on a good song. I enjoy sports talk sometimes when I can find it and some of what NPR does but who here really tries to soak this poo poo in once in a while? Because all these radio shows are incredibly hosed up and basically all WGOP...infomercials I guess.

Get a bluetooth earbud and listen to audiobooks or music or whatever, it's 100x easier to wear safely when out and about, is the only technology that uses bluetooth that is actually somewhat reliable, and people see you wearing one and think you're a go-getter professional who hustle grinds with a sigma mindset when really you're listening to Guards! Guards! and gameplanning strategies to slack off at work I've been using a Jabra 25 for years and years now, it's like 25 bucks FM transmitters are garbo, if you've got a tape deck you're better off getting one of those aux to cassette things I definitely don't listen to the stuff though. Thanks to SA I get to keep up to date on this stuff without ever being exposed to it personally. I think I actually listened to something Trump said a half dozen times throughout his entire Presidency

Now RWM is talking about how it’s evidence Hunter (and apparently by proxy Joe himself) are compromised in dealings with China? My understanding is that some of the emails have been authenticated, but all they prove is that Joe briefly met someone from Burisma (he previously said he never did), but witnesses at the dinner where the meeting happened said Joe only dropped by briefly to say hello to someone else, so the Burisma "meeting" would have been very short, and not any kind of business discussion. We already knew that Burisma was paying Hunter Biden entirely too much money because of who his dad was, so all the emails proved is that members of the Biden family made money overseas off the name, but there's zero evidence Joe Biden acted corruptly in office. While some of the emails have been authenticated, the data cache they come from can't be authenticated as a whole, and there's forensic evidence that the hard drive in question was written to well after Hunter supposedly abandoned the laptop, so the entire thing is still sketchy as hell.

I know mailing lists exist that contain political representatives right along side Fox talking heads so they can have coordinated, some times even verbatim, messaging on evening news and in places like the Senate at the exact same time. Roger Ailes would tell people they must use X word to gin up panic everywhere, all at the same time. You can see it work (and how well it works) every time a new focus grouped, workshopped phrase tears across the country in a day or two. Think critical race theory. I wouldn't be surprised in the least to find something similar for all the lovely right wing terrestrial radio mouth pieces just to make it that much more effective.

There is a window in which they realize they don't want their life as it is being on drugs to continue and are ready to commit making a change. Sometimes they can do that on their own, sometimes they need help to do it because of circumstances or they just don't know where to begin. Rehab as an alternative to prison is a good idea compared to what we have now but putting people there, even if they are put on the right meds, doesn't mean they will get sober or stay that way if they do. Again, they have to be in the right frame of mind, the right place and willing to make the change what I'm saying is, you can try all you want and they may even go but they actually have to want it. It's fine to sever and there are many reasons to do so but those aren't your only options.
