My wife decided to watch Stranger Things seasons 1-3, and from watching it in the background I think why season 1 is so much better than the rest is that you truly have no idea what's going on until near the end. The subsequent seasons are all variations on "that dastardly Upside Down/science project is at it again!", but when you don't have that worldbuilding in mind then the mystery hits so much better. Maybe that's why the later seasons just feel like them re-hashing the first one- they just show you the same magic trick over and over, after you've already figured it out.

Stranger Things S1 is a complete story that uses the longer medium of streaming TV to pack a ton of details which would be cut out of a movie. Everything else after seems like milking the IP train with MOAR 80s REFERENCES!

I watched Satan's Sadists (1969) and it sucked twice over - sometimes I like to take a chance on these old biker films because they're occasionally insane campy fun, but this one was huge stretches of boring nothing dotted with periodic graphic rape scenes. So instead of thinking any more about it I'll recommend what's probably my favorite biker film that I've found by just blindly watching whatever falls in my lap, Bury Me An Angel (1971), which is a wholesome tale of a woman abandoning her life and devoting every waking moment to stalking and murdering everyone even remotely involved with a biker gang that killer her brother. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFbkM-zJAto warning trailer contains boobs and butts
