I just want the show to give up entirely on doing a last minute redemption for 90% of their story lines about horribly maiming and or killing hapless humans I'd say it's about 70/30 on redemptions and even then, a lot of those are just digimon not realizing what they were doing was actually bad, not in actual conscious control of themselves, or acted more like a talking animal rather than an intelligent being. The other 30% is actual malice where they are beaten up to some sort of demise. 95% of victimized humans come back in one piece at least.
