When Voyager is taking your cash to buy crypto, or giving you cash because you sold crypto, it has to keep that cash somewhere that's either going into or out of the crypto ecosystem, and than for that brief moment when that cash is still in Voyager's bank account at MCB after it's sent from your bank or before they send it to your bank, it's insured. I don't touch the poop so I can't be sure, but from my understanding you can (could lol) in fact hold regular USD in your account at Voyager, either after you fund it by putting money in, or after you sell stuff. That money was insured in the event of MCB's failure (but, crucially, not Voyager's).

Exactly. If you *only* held USD, you'd be fine. As none of the people do hold USD, welp. This isn't just a sub 20k day. Some folks say 16k, some say 17k are on deck. weekly and monthly technicals are now bearish after this week. It's time for a trip to goblintown. I had fun calling out another "crypto trader expert" for what I called suicide bull, to highlight that these morons will throw money at crypto infinitely as long as they have it in belief that number can only go up. However, for reasons of idiots, we will probably revisit 20.6k at least once on the way down. edit: nice rear end fib rings VVV. truly ghostty worthy. Their roadmap also states that the sales of these monkeys will fund the development of a metaverse video game where you can play as your monkey. PhazonLink posted:are these two things true and do they do the job even well compared to older methods? Short answer, yes. Crytpocurrency being anonymous and completely outside of international regulatory systems makes it absolutely the best way to collect ransomware money, take payments for illicit activities, outright steal from exchanges, etc. There's a reason North Korea has been really big on stealing crypto lately. Cashing out can be tricky, though - you need to run it through a tumbler, find money mules to cash it out, etc. But you can also just use it directly as currency. Yeah, you lose some along the way, but 1 bird in the hand vs 2 in the bush, etc. Especially if you stole it.

It was the little sister of the girl he came to meet, who was most likely underage. The story was that he was not allowed to sleep in the same bed as his online girlfriend because of her weird parents, so they put him into a bed, with her younger sister instead (who slept naked). The dumb part of this probably fake story was all other bitcoiners exclaiming in comments about how great bitcoin is now, glossing over the sexual assault (of a minor). Anyway probably not worth digging up this early bitcoin lore garbage to confirm the exact story. EDIT: confirmed above now Rad Russian fucked around with this message at 05:49 on Jul 12, 2022 |
