Oh nice. If I get lucky against all odds and pull Kazuha I'll be sorely tempted to use it on him despite it not really being that great just because of Fashion.

It might be good for any Lunar Whales that get C6 Kazuha though for that ATK based carry build.

Mopsy, I'm starting to question your medical credentials.

I still have a soft spot for Ella Musk because the first time I got one of her quests I was like, "okay, yeah, now we get the quest with the silly fantasy SJW who thinks you can talk to the monsters and I'm going to have to defend her as she is constantly attacked while running into danger and in the end we will all have a good laugh at how she thought the monsters were people instead of existing to kill or be killed  "

And then instead she was correct and the hilichurls seemed actively delighted to have someone they could speak to. They are definitely actually people with their own language and culture. And you just keep killing them anyway. :aaa:

I hate monoliths and anything with balloons. Defending balloons is worse than destroying balloons but I hate them both.

I like the commissions where you destroy slime balloons, it takes like 5 seconds so it's just a faster kill monster commission. the only one I don't like is that one in liyue where they placed the balloon in water just deep enough that you can't stand in it half the time. it's really annoying

but defending balloons is always a tedious waste of time

I got really annoyed when I set my commissions to Random and got 3 in Liyue and the Ella Musk commission for Poetry. Like I heard that that has happened to other people but it's still annoying as hell to see it in person.

Naturally when I set it to specifically Mondstadt for the next day thinking that they wouldn't give me another Ella Musk quest right after that, I had to escort her to a Hilichurl Camp for Language Exchange. :what:

"...creating a vision of the sort of society you want to have in miniature"
The history of the hillichurls,, and how Hoyoverse slowly gave gave out more info of their past, before really hammering it home in the Chasm interlude, is really good storytelling.

I do wish though they'd find a better way to make the gameplay more consistent with the narrative. Honestly now most of the time when I see hillichurls I try to just leave them alone unless I'm forced to.

The Wiki summarizes the tragic history of the hillichurls well (story spoilers if you're not caught up)

Though they have existed for over a thousand years, their presence has spread since the Cataclysm occurring 500 years ago.[2] These hilichurls are actually the former citizens of Khaenri'ah, having been cursed with immortality and transformed into monsters. They wear masks to hide their true faces, out of a fear of seeing their true identity on a reflective surface like water. This is due to the mental anguish they suffer from after seeing how their faces have changed from the curse. Under their curse, memories of their former life are long forgotten, as well as most semblances of humanity they once had. Their intelligence and behavior are gradually degraded, and no longer speak nor understand the common language of Teyvat. Because of this, Hilichurls are in a perpetual state of agony. However, Hilichurls still seem to be aware that they are cursed, and are somehow aware of the properties of an area in The Chasm that can temporarily suppress their immortality. Some Hilichurls venture to this region to 'die', in which their physical bodies and mental state erode to the point that is like 'death'. It seems they have no urge to eat, or starve due to their weakness, as Paimon noted that their crates, which are usually used to store food, are found empty in the Chasm. The Hilichurls are dying as their end is nigh when they have grown old and become fearful of the light. Dainsleif (former captain of the Royal Guard of Khaenri'ah) said it doesn't matter if they had the Hilichurls wrong, because he also takes them as enemies.

Speaking of Tsarevich's commission, do remember that one of them requires you to retrieve his goods and therefore you cannot destroy any of the crates near the hilichurls. I went right in with a Sayu deathball comp and blew everything up.

That was in January, six months ago, and I haven't seen that commission again since. :(

Yeah, agreed. Hillichurls clearly aren't the monsters they're treated as, and the Traveler and Paimon are among the few people to know that. I'm fine with self-defense, but I'd like to see some moments of the Traveler going, "Well, I'm not comfortable with killing random Hillichurls" when asked

I'd be really happy with a way to address the hilichurl problem. This may or may not have started with my desire to put hilichurls in the serenitea pot so that they can dance, roast marshmallows and lie. I kinda have the same issue with killing scores of treasure hunters, nobushi and kairagi. I'm not sure if there is a non-lethal way to drop a planet on someone.

Some math nerd do the math for me.

I have a 50/50 chance of getting the on banner 5 star when I get my next 5 star. I have 50 wishes until I get a guaranteed 5 star.

In those 50 wishes, do I have a better chance of getting Heizou or Klee?

HA! HA! NICE! WHAT A TOOL!
Heizou by a lot. 36 wishes gives you a 50% shot at a rate up 4 star starting from zero. You have a ~16% chance of getting a 5 star in 36 wishes and a 50% chance of that 5 star being klee.

For future kazuha havers - leaks have suggested venerer is being added (along with others) to the reliquary selection. Hold off on farming venerer for now but keep fuel for the 3.0 relquaries.

Btw his best 4 star weapon is R5 favonious (true). His E hits 3 times so even 35% CR does work.

Sac sword and fav sword really depend on how many refinements you have. Personally I don't have much for either sword. At low refinements the sac sword is more reliable to proc but at R2 the cooldown is so long that I only use it on XQ. If you're in my boat then Iron Sting is your best bet.

Kazuha only needs ~145% ER to burst on cooldown normally and EM is a much harder stat to make up with better artifacts. Kageuchi is also viable as it clears up any ER requirements. At least with Iron Sting I can use set artifacts with high ER substats that would be garbage otherwise. :shobon:

I definitely need more than that (not as much as the 230 I have ofc). It takes a lot for one-of an element to burst on cooldown, even Venti usually shoots for 170 and he only needs 45 energy.

My Kaz is blessed with great ER substats, and my DPSers have no need for extra particles with their low cost bursts, so I'll always be 100% team Iron Sting. Honestly I should probably refine it, since his direct damage isn't too shabby after recently getting better Crit ratios. Plus I have like 12 sword billets.

Nice of them to put the new 4* on one of the most anticipated reruns.

I'm a Venti-Haver and he's still the god king of sucking up Hilichurls and Bandits, but I would just rather have Kazuha at this point considering the anti-vacuum haterade that has been a part of almost all post-launch content(and will probably continue forever). I'll be going into Sumeru Archon hoarding lockdown afterwards.

The best 4 star sword for Kazuha is Sac Sword. Doing two skill uses in a row (and it almost always triggers since you're hitting multiple guys) clears out most camps, and it provides enough energy to charge your burst with just the ER bonuses from the sword.

Oh yeah, it's patch day. Hmm, I have 40 pity, would have to win the 50/50, 15k primos, and 40 wishes or so banked (actual wishes from BP/Dust + available ones from Glitter). I'd like a Kazuha, but I will probably stop if I don't win the 50/50. Might be risky going all in and not having a good bank saved up.
