Maybe Onstad, like Beef, cannot handle having money. However, he is missing a chance to endow a home for scared people.

Now got me remembering those strips where Ray and Roast Beef are each hanging out with Onstead and he picks them up in the last panel, and how that probably would have gone with the rest of the strip's cat characters

It's in the blogs. He waits until he can't take the comments on bedhead or whatever anymore then goes to a barber. Maybe the time in the blogs is the only time he went, like it's his barber hating origin story or something? But he gets mad because they made him look like "a god-drat magazine person."

This is fantastic, and unless I'm mistaking it for another one of Pat's litigious adventures (possible, he has many!) I think this kicks off the arc about Pat and his terrible, terrible lawyer who I think ends up dying and Pat takes over the case for himself with expected results?

Edit: Oh yeah, it was! I forgot about this incredible closing line to the adventure:

In the meanwhile, I guess I have to put my lawsuit against Hair Have You Been? and its employees on hold. Whatever. I was kind of losing interest in it anyway, since it was such a formality of a slam-dunk. I don't really need the money, I more just wanted them to be put out of business. Maybe later tonight I will throw a rock through their window.

Pat is a terrible, terrible cat.

Sorry to butt in, but I wondered if anyone would be interested in the complete Achewood in PDF files? I don't know what the rules concerning that might be. I've been lurking here on and off for a few years now, and it looks like the complete canon might not make it after all.

Content I have collected:

All graphics re-worked and upscaled to 4x size for future-proofing
All strips with alt-text, story arcs bookmarked in PDFs
All alternate endings, errata
Ray's place
Subscriber stuff - 2002, '03, '04 including Mother F***ing Vodka Day, complete Nate Small.
Hug Hog strip (post wedding)
Blogs interleaved in chronological order as they appear on the web
Book texts - Prologue, A History of Achewood, Before we were Achewood, Clowns with benefits
GOF extra non-strip text - Recipes, Fight history, Profiles in Strength, Glossary
Five extra GOF strips/panels from the book
Stanford Chaparral pieces
2005's Chicken Recipe strip
Facebook in-character posts
Twitter in-character posts
All GOF posters
Both Dark Horse strips - One Dollar Genius (2008) and The Garage Sale (2009)
Colour updated strips - Ray gets sort of stoned, Comic Sans et al
Spin magazine special 2012
Cornelius interview for Time Magazine, Nov 17, 2009
Mashups and Tributes to Achewood

Yeah that was it. I remember when I subscribed, the guy who was running it for Onstad up and died, but continued to collect subs at like £12 a year. I never got access to those archives either. It's unlikely that archive.org will have them too, as they were behind a paywall. Still, if anyone has any clues...
