Oh, there are definitely boring episodes, but they're more tolerable than flipping channels to Friends or Seinfeld or Big Bang Theory reruns, or playing the "what should I watch" game, which usually results in Futurama. Boring but wholesome is a low bar of acceptability, but it's amazing how many shows can't even reach that. Movie was fine, needs more Marshmallow and Gail. Also clip show simpsons is how we know they're from Kentucky, thanks to the Behind the Laughter episode.
