I organized the Man w No Name trilogy by their individual releases, but other series have been stuck together despite different naming conventions. I’m ordered, but willing to make exceptions. Either way, anything is easily found!

I've gone straight up alphabetical on movies because I already spend too much loving time organizing my record collection alphabetical by band and in chronological order.

It is dark, and it's intended to be dark, but on recent rewatch it really solidifies how horrific it is that Biff has been everpresent throughout Lorraine and George's life. He's no longer just a "bully" with that revelation.

That's kind of the thing. They just drop that in the middle of this wacky adventure. And then seeing Biff hanging around waxing the car when he tried to rape Lorraine is loving weird and gross. I know it's supposed to be dark but I think it's just too much.

I haven’t actually watched BTTF since middle school so actually watching it and going “Yep, that’s attempted rape” isn’t something I’ve done l, yet. I bought the UHDs a while back so I’ll watch all the way through at some point.

They are in perfect ascending runtime order, as are all the titles :colbert:

The only one I truly regret is Bumfights. I bought it 21 years ago before I even had a DVD player, but a year later when I watched it I realized it was just depressing exploitation.

Also Doom House is a classic and nothing will ever change that. RIP Reginald

I'm just saying, there's a nonzero chance Trump has a really toad penis.
When George says "No, Biff. You leave her alone," he's basically resigning himself to taking a beating so this doesn't happen to her. The "plan" is out the window at that point. It's just the three of them, Biff gives George an out, and he decides on his own that he can't live with taking it. Even if it means Biff making good on every threat of violence he's ever sent George's way. The punch isn't when Lorraine finally sees who he is, it's that.

I don't know how you get the stakes of that situation to where they need to be for the story to work without it being something horrible.

Eh, you sorta have a point that it is tonally weird. The point of Biff hanging around waxing the car et al is that in the original timeline, he used intimidation to get where and what he wanted, in the new timeline George stood up to him and defanged him, turning him into a sniveling shadow of what he was.

Unfurtunaly, I'm at work, so I can't just look at everything. On DVD, I have the original Aeon Flux DVD, which was worth about $200 before they released the entire series on DVD.

Death is Just the Beginning 6, it's a music video collection from Nuclear Blast circa 2002.

Doom House, for those non-goons.

I think the most obscure one I have is Jag Panzer: The Era of Kings and Conflict, it was a self-released DVD from the early 2000's of a bunch of music videos they made (probably in an afternoon). I got it at one of their concerts.

I also have the entire Time Life Beavis and Butthead collection, which was pretty much just all of the VHS tapes combined to two per DVD. I actually prefer some of these to the 3 volume collection because it preserves the episodes (sans the videos :argh: ), where the Mike Judge Collection chops it all up. I watch the Time Life DVD of Beavis and Butthead Do Christmas every couple of years.

When It comes to Blu-Ray, the most obscure thing I probably have there is the Japanese import of Kenny and Company. A new Blu-Ray shipped from Japan was the same price as a used DVD from ebay

I have an import Blu-ray of Katsuhiro Otomo’s Memories, which has (as far as I know) not gotten a stateside release outside of DVD. It’s gorgeous in HD but has a weird issue where CG-incorporating segments of Magnetic Rose look like they’re in SD, then quality goes back to staggering as soon as it cuts away. I don’t know that’s going on there. I also own a Blu-ray of the inimitable Polonia Bros.’ Bad Magic sourced from S-VHS, limited to around 200 copies or so. It remains one of my go-to discs for traumatizing people who want to see a bad movie.

I used to have a bootleg Ong Bak DVD from those days when there like little mall kiosks that would sell bootleg foreign DVDs. So I had a copy of Ong Bak like more than a year before it ever got any sort of real U.S. release.

Sadly that DVD got lost in the shuffle somewhere along the line during my college years when I was moving from dorm room to dorm room.

Also a double feature disc of a movie where Pele saves an orphanage by playing soccer and a Canadian TV movie where Kim Cattrall falls in love with a one-legged Paralympic high jumper.

My roommate inherited her dad's DVD collection, tons of westerns, war movies, war documentaries, with some smatterings of other things, like a copy of Amy Schumer's I Feel Pretty, or the best of Red Skelton. We really don't know everything that's in the haul, although some of it is region 2.

Considering we found a Playboy Laserdisc hidden inside a BeeGee's Vinyl sleeve, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a softcore porno or two hidden inside some documentary about the Battle off Samar.

Angel Heart isn’t something I’d watch all the time but will probably grab some day. It looked good on Blu-ray and is plenty creepy. I watched it the first time after finding out it helped inspire Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers.

Also Lisa Bonnet got fired from The Cosby Show by Bill himself, for NOT BEING FAMILY FRIENDLY. That’s some serious irony.

Anyone know if the 88 Films version of The Seven Percent Solution that’s coming out soon is a new transfer? The Shout one is kind of meh, and I only grabbed it because I thought it might never get another release. I haven’t been able to find anything saying whether or not they did a new transfer.
