So, I thought Prince Valiant was slow, boring, overly wordy, and stupid, and I was wrong about all those things but I didn't know because I never really gave it a chance. I would just skip it on Sundays and move on to Croc or Frank and Ernest or whatever the gently caress bullshit comic was next on the page.
Oh well I probably appreciate it now more than I would have then anyways

I'm not sure I remember this correctly, but in my city they took only a third of a comic, shrunk it down, and printed it without context for three weeks running.
Could be wrong, since I don't know for sure what format newspaper Valiant was in in the 90s.
