Congrats to Reb as well, now the creative director for Warframe. Heck of a career path, she apparently started as an intern back in the dark days for DE, became a community manager, voiced space mom, and now creative director. I probably also missed some steps in there. Genuinely glad to see it.

Dang. That's amazing for Reb, she's definitely earned it. Also feel like she's way more in touch with the game than Steve had been for awhile so hope it means good things. Speaking of which all this Tennocon madness has me tempted to jump into the game again. I haven't played since around Railjack happened so I've missed a hell of a lot of stuff.

I legit think adding a roguelike mode is a good idea. It'll let people who've been basically capped for ages have a feeling of progression again, and gives them a chance to reset power levels on things like melee and aoe vs single target weapons. Also helps that it's visually cool. They also killed it with the new Titania skin and Khora Prime.

some of the way soulframe is being described reminds me of remnant: from the ashes, which was a pretty cool game that utilized prcgen chunks to make large zones filled with events and bosses that pulled from a pool for each specific zone but were randomly dealt out from run to run of the game. you could progress through each zone once as you made your way towards the end of the game or even deliberately trigger rerolls of zones purely to hoover up more unique gear/whatever from a given zone. also there was co-op that let you drop into other people's games and see stuff in their version of a zone with stuff you might not have experienced. it was pretty cool. but yeah some of the descriptions vaguely make me consider that.
