drat listening to Monday Night Wars b&v and it's shocking how quickly it goes from no mention of covid to "we aren't reviewing the shows because we can't be in the same room any more."

I'll be honest, this episode was way more relevant to Current Vince Mcmahon Events than I was expecting. It's a good reminder that enough people always knew that Vince was a gross weirdo to make jokes about it.

Big Audio Nightmare did their annual G1 MATH!TM show and though they locked in their choices as unchangeable this year, there was still that moment of increasing panic as they get near the end and realize the absolute clusterfuck they've created for the final nights of each block

Oh and because the board loving sucks, can anyone link to the thread of voting for best limerick? I was a finalist and more curious on who won than I should be - I don't think it was announced on any of the B&V shows.

At the risk of saying something that belongs in the Corn-hole, it's also bizarre because like... his one note for Mox is 'he went out to the floor' as if guys like Hansen, Brody and Funk never did that.

Cornette came from the era of wrestling where it was a DQ if you threw someone over the top rope so of course he sees it as something only an outlaw mudshow would do

leekster posted:If I'm only going to listen to one or two wrestling podcasts, which ones should they be? Depends what you are interested in. I'd recommend Between The Sheets if you have an interest in the history of wrestling as viewed through the dirtsheets. It also works for one wrestling podcast because you won't have any time for any others. It's long, even if you skip the "half-time" segment. It's "this week in year X", so this week it's 2005, July 12-19. Their Patreon episodes are also really good, they go through the sheets on a specific topic, like the dying days of WCW or about Global Wrestling Federation or the current short series on McMahon & the Titangate scandal

If you want tightly paced, structured wrestling news catch-up, the Flagship is for you. If you love the sound of papers shuffling, Observer Radio is your pick. To be clear I love the sound of papers shuffling, which is why I listen

An exhausted mid-40s father of two toddlers up at 3am listening to a 60+ year old muscle man living in a wastepaper basket explain what happened on the undercard of a C League MMA event that has nothing to do with professional wrestling. In other words, audio perfection.
